Getting Ready to Play So Much Sushi!
Are you as excited as we are for the upcoming release of So Much Sushi? If not, maybe this guide will help get you in the sushi spirit!
So Much Sushi is a one-of-a-kind game that blends the fun and challenge of sushi making with the excitement of slot machines. The objective of the game is to make as much sushi as possible, and then use your winnings to buy more fixtures and ingredients for your kitchen.
Before you can start cooking up a storm, there are a few things you need to do first. The most important: create your player profile. This includes giving your character a name and choosing your country of origin. Be sure to also pick a difficulty level – easy, medium, or hard.
Once you've created your profile, it's time to start cooking! The game features three different types of sushi: nigiri, maki, and sashimi. In order to make each type of sushi, you'll need different ingredients and tools.
Nigiri is made with raw fish and rice balled into a triangular shape. To make nigiri sushi, you'll need: rice vinegar, sugar, salt, soy sauce, tuna flakes or salmon flakes (or other type of raw fish), wasabi paste (optional), and ginger (optional).
To make the rice vinegar mixture, combine rice vinegar, sugar, and salt in a small bowl and stir until the sugar and salt have dissolved. Then set it aside.
In another bowl, mix together soy sauce and tuna flakes/salmon flakes (or other raw fish). If you're using wasabi paste, add it now too.
Now it's time to roll! Take a clump of rice in your hand and shape it into a triangular shape. Make sure it's not too wet or too dry – adding more or less rice vinegar mixture as needed. Place some of the tuna/salmon mixture in the middle of the rice triangle, then use your hands to mould the rice around the fish until it forms a tight ball. Finally, add some ginger (if using) and secure with a chopstick before serving.
Maki is made with cooked fish or vegetables and sticky white rice rolled into cylindrical rolls. To make maki sushi, you'll need: bamboo matting (can be purchased at any store selling kitchen supplies), Nori seaweed paper (available at most Asian grocery stores), cooked fish or vegetables (such as crab sticks, cucumber slices,, avocado slices,, carrot matchsticks,, etc.), white sticky sushirice (available at most Asian grocery stores), water ,and soy sauce .
Nori seaweed comes in different colors – green or black – but we recommend using green Nori for brighter looking rolls. Cut Nori sheets in half so that they are about 8 inches long .
assembling makisushi is pretty simple: just place Nori sheet on bamboo matting ,cover with ½ cup cooked white sushirice evenly moistened with water , top evenly with fillings leaving ½-inch border from edge closest to you , lift edge furthest from you Using both hands roll mat tightly towards yourself pressing slightly so Nori sticksto filling keep rolling until Log is formed , cover with clingfilmand refrigeratefor30 minutesbeforecutting diagonally into8pieces . Servewith wasabi pasteand soy sauce on side if desired .)
Sashimi is made with thin slices of raw seafood such as salmon or tuna served without rice accompaniment.. To make sashimi sushi,.you will need: very fresh seafood like salmon or tuna (thawed if frozen), wasabi paste (optional), pickled ginger (optional), soy sauce., Cutting Board.)
Slice the fish againstthe graininto thin piecesabout 1/8 inch thick .If everything has been prepared ahead off time assemble platter by fanning outslicesoffish interspersedwithdrizzles ofwasabi pasteaddingeachperson'ss favouriteingre dients likepickledgingerandsoy sauceon top beforeserving immediately .)
